Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Duncan. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals, and communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
