Food Service Manager

B.C. LTD. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive team dynamic.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform budgeting and cost control decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
