Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Duncan. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Team Management: Hire food service staff, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a team environment.
