Veterinary Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist at VCA Canada Downtown Animal Hospital. As a key member of our client care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

  • Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for clients and their pets
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments effectively
  • Admit and discharge pet patients, and perform general administrative tasks
  • Process payments and create estimates
  • Take initiative and work independently to ensure seamless operations
  • A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
