About the Role

Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Auditor/Associate Manager to join their Technology Infrastructure Security Audit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on large, complex assurance reviews to deliver high-quality, professional, cost-effective, valuable, and risk-based audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits related to Information Risk Management, Technology Governance, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Data Center Security, Cloud Security, Architecture Reviews, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and operating practices within the Information Technology control environment.
  • Support multiple audit projects simultaneously to meet time and quality objectives.
  • Produce meaningful audit reports articulating positions on risks and related issues.
  • Assist in evaluating corrective action plans for potential issues.
  • Collaborate on internal team/department initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience with testing IT General Controls.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and tools such as Security Operations, Security Engineering, Identity and Access Management, etc.
  • Understanding of Network and Network Security concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of information security controls, infrastructure technology, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Understanding of technology infrastructure concepts, processes, and associated risks.
  • Degree in information systems or relevant field with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in technology audit/risk management.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and business processes.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail and focus on top risks.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
