About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Auditor to join our Technology Infrastructure Security Audit team at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on large-scale assurance reviews of various types, including key risk audits, emerging risk reviews, program and project audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of technology processes, tools, and technologies to evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Support multiple simultaneous audit projects to ensure timely completion and quality objectives are met.

  • Develop and implement audit plans, test procedures, and risk assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, analyze data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and external clients.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of technology infrastructure security.

Requirements

  • University degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technology audit or risk management role, preferably in the insurance industry.

  • Strong understanding of IT general controls, cybersecurity concepts, and network security principles.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
