About You:
You are a seasoned technology auditor or IT risk management expert seeking a challenging role in IT auditing. You possess innovative, solution-oriented thinking and are a collaborative partner dedicated to addressing critical challenges that enhance business outcomes. Your strong business acumen allows you to effectively partner with various stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in technology or cybersecurity auditing, preferably within a financial institution.
- Familiarity with internal audit processes and methodologies, particularly in a risk-based approach (experience with a professional services audit firm is advantageous).
- Advanced education in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (post-secondary education is preferred).
- A recognized professional audit certification (CISA, CIA, CCAK, etc.)
- Cybersecurity or IT Risk certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.)
- Experience in the financial services sector, particularly with federally regulated institutions, is highly desirable.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven project management abilities with a track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- A commitment to teamwork and open communication within a self-managed environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Senior IT Auditor will conduct IT audit engagements, evaluate IT controls for effectiveness and efficiency, provide actionable recommendations for identified issues, and collaborate with business partners to assess risks.
- Participate in planning, executing, and completing IT audits and risk advisory engagements.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
- Draft and finalize clear and concise audit findings and reports.
- Translate internal controls and processes into business risks with practical mitigation strategies.
- Discuss audit findings and recommendations with management, obtaining constructive feedback for implementation.
- Monitor progress to meet deadlines and produce quality, evidence-based deliverables that adhere to professional standards.
- Maintain thorough and well-documented working papers.
Compensation:
Peoples Group offers a competitive annual salary and a discretionary profit-sharing opportunity. The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
