Job Summary

DXB Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other drivers and logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record travel information and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • License and Endorsements: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of driver logbook, inspection reports, and trip reports.
Transportation Experience
  • Type of Trucking: Tractor-trailer.
  • Transportation Experience: Long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial.
Security and Safety
  • Security Clearance: Possess a valid passport, undergo a criminal record check, and pass a medical exam.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Overtime: Be willing to work overtime as required.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
