Job Summary

Karnal Freight System is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent oral and written communication.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Willingness to train or equivalent experience.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Remote location, various locations, and relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 50 hours per week.
