Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Blair Holdings Limited. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment within our urban office settings.

Qualifications
  • No formal educational background is necessary.
Work Environment
  • Work will be conducted in a corporate office building managed by a cleaning service provider.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Utilize vacuum equipment for carpets and upholstery cleaning.
  • Maintain inventory in the linen closet.
  • Sanitize kitchen and restroom facilities.
  • Manage lost and found items efficiently.
  • Provide basic information regarding facility operations.
  • Dispose of waste and collect litter from the premises.
  • Clean windows, walls, and ceilings as required.
  • Execute floor stripping and waxing tasks.
Required Certifications
  • WHMIS Certification is mandatory.
Security Requirements
  • A criminal background check is necessary.
Transportation Needs
  • Possession of a personal vehicle is required for commuting.
Work Conditions
  • Engage in repetitive tasks that require meticulous attention to detail.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Must be client-oriented, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in cleaning services ranging from 7 months to less than 1 year is preferred.
  • This is a permanent position requiring proficiency in the English language.
  • Work hours will range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
