Role Overview: As a Retail Operations Leader, you will cultivate a team atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and positive relationships. In this position, you will oversee and guide the team to meet store objectives, including sales and profitability targets, recruitment, performance management, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure your store meets corporate objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage a well-functioning business by adhering to company policies, procedures, loss prevention strategies, payroll management, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Recruit, develop, and train top-tier talent who are focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
  • Set a standard for The Torrid Connection and ensure the team delivers a shopping experience that fosters positive customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Execute merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting store atmosphere that encourages shopping.
  • Maintain effective communication with the District Manager and headquarters partners.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in specialty/apparel retail management with a proven track record of leading teams to success.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; a college degree is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while remaining committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing retail and fashion trends, challenges, job responsibilities, and work schedules are crucial for success.
  • A strong passion for fashion and staying updated on current trends.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Capable of packing and unpacking shipments, arranging and moving store fixtures, and lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to reach for merchandise using ladders, step stools, and other retrieval tools.
