We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Assistant to join our team at MOBIL 1 LUBE EXPRESS. This role is essential in supporting our skilled technicians and ensuring a smooth workflow in our garage environment.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
The work setting is characterized by:
- Noisy conditions due to machinery and equipment.
- Dusty environments, typical of automotive repair facilities.
- Hot temperatures, especially during peak operational hours.
As an Automotive Service Assistant, your tasks will include:
- Transporting tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other staff as directed.
- Maintaining cleanliness of machines and immediate work areas.
This position is physically demanding and requires:
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Dependability and a strong sense of initiative.
- Reliability in completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
