First Student Canada is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and perform vehicle repairs, including brakes, engine tune-ups, and suspension work.
- Lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and maintain records of maintenance work.
- Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
- Adhere to First Student standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Mechanic license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Advanced problem-solving ability.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
