Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our team at 2646494 Ontario Limited. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP program
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain and balance financial records using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax documentation
  • Compile trial balances
  • Reconcile financial accounts
Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should be proficient in:

  • Accounting software
  • Database management
  • QuickBooks
  • TaxPrep
  • MS Office Suite
  • Sage Accounting Software
Equipment Proficiency

Experience with scanners is preferred.
