**Key Responsibilities**

* **Lead the Finance Team**: Supervise and lead the finance team, focusing on performance and development
* **Daily Operations**: Oversee daily operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and preparation and analysis of financial statements
* **Financial Analysis**: Conduct in-depth financial analysis on variance, trends, and commentary
* **Compliance**: Administer compliance and reporting for US and Canadian governments
* **Team Development**: Guide, mentor, coach, and empower team members, fostering their professional development and growth
* **ERP System Management**: Manage ERP system upgrades, optimization, and management
* **Strategic Insights**: Provide strategic insights, recommendations, and implementations on operational and financial matters

**Requirements**

* **Financial Experience**: 5+ years of financial accounting and reporting experience
* **Leadership Experience**: 3+ years of experience leading a finance team in either a team lead or supervisor role
* **Professional Designations**: CPA, CMA, CA, or CGA designation
* **Multi-Currency Experience**: Experienced with multi-currency financial reporting
* **Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members
* **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of stakeholders
* **Collaboration Skills**: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
* **Business Acumen**: Strategic, adaptable, and resourceful, with strong business acumen and the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations
* **ERP System Experience**: Experienced in ERP system implementation or optimization
