Job Title: Vice President, Asset Management

Join YWCA Metro Vancouver as a key member of our senior leadership team and lead our social enterprises, including Hotel and Health + Fitness and four childcare centers in Vancouver. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing our strategic goals, outlined in our Strategic Plan – Forward with Purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to set the strategic direction for the organization.
  • Develop market and competitive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation in the Hotel, Health + Fitness, child care, and other potential areas of expansion.
  • Lead research and development of business models, strategies, and implementation plans.
  • Build relationships with private and non-profit sector and government to explore innovative models and advance new opportunities.
  • Optimize processes, track and analyze performance, and mitigate operating risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, launching, and/or overseeing social enterprise ventures.
  • Strong understanding of social entrepreneurship principles, business modeling, and impact measurement.
  • Advanced level of business acumen to identify risks and leverage opportunities that can be proactively addressed.
