Inventory Management Specialist

At Standard Aero, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stockroom Clerk. This role is a great opportunity to build a career in aviation logistics and maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming products for distribution to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain records and prepare documentation for all products shipped and received, adhering to industry standards.
- Ensure all items are stored and issued in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, utilizing inventory management systems.
- Verify routing information and move parts to the appropriate area or department, utilizing forklift equipment.
- Use best practices to pack materials for shipment back to customers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
- Collaborate with the Standard Aero Customer Service team to understand shipping instructions and create labels, ensuring seamless communication.
- Finalize shipments and maintain accurate inventory levels of shipping supplies.
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 25% of the average work day.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Ability to learn and adapt to two inventory management systems (StandardAero Menu and DRMIS)
- Well-organized with attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to think outside the box when solving problems.
- A valid forklift operator's license.
