As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and sustainable supply of drinking water to communities across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for water treatment systems in rural Manitoba
  • Supervise and manage maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance and operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of water treatment services
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and operations

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to travel within Manitoba, including overnight stays, and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
