About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Irrigation Team Supervisor to join our team at The Grounds Guys of Barrie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 3 people while performing irrigation services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of up to 3 people while performing irrigation services
  • Perform irrigation installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, openings, and closings
  • Set up schedules with clients for openings and closings
  • Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including sod cutters, Dingo, vibratory plow, trencher, trucks, trailers, and compressors
  • Address client questions, comments, and concerns
  • Complete daily paperwork, including equipment and vehicle checklists, work orders, and other required documents
  • Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements
  • Current G Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Own transportation to our shop
  • 4-5 years of experience in the field is required
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Able to work days, weekends, early morning, and early evening
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform all other physical requirements associated with the position
Compensation

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $28-$32, depending on experience.
