Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Technician to join our team at Brandt. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose equipment issues, and perform repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and computer systems
  • Accurately document work orders and machine information
  • Work collaboratively with equipment engineers and service team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Road test equipment and verify repairs as required
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical experience in a truck and coach environment is required
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Coach technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and customers
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service and a safe working environment
