Overview:
The Service department is actively seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist who is focused on delivering exceptional customer service. This role is essential in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Key Duties:
- Generate accurate quotations for deficiencies, system enhancements, and service modifications, adhering to company pricing protocols.
- Process sales orders promptly and ensure timely entry into the system.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Assess customer accounts and monitor credit limits.
- Verify that customer details align with purchase orders and provided quotes.
- Ensure accurate and timely order entry.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to manage part orders and ensure readiness for customer pickup.
- Stay informed about product features, industry regulations, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and relevant meetings to promote our products and services.
- Support Sales Representatives in lead generation and account management.
- Assist in expediting sales orders and project requests.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
- Schedule meetings for Sales Representatives as required.
- Provide customers with product and technical information.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred; background in fire alarm, security, or electrical sectors is advantageous.
- Completion of post-secondary education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is beneficial.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism in handling confidential information.
