Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview:

Our Service department is actively seeking a qualified Sales Support Specialist for our office who is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate quotations for deficiencies, system upgrades, and changes, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to company pricing protocols.
  • Process sales orders efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Review customer accounts and credit limits.
  • Ensure customer data aligns with purchase orders and provided quotes.
  • Accurately enter orders in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse team to manage part orders, ensuring equipment is prepared for collection.
  • Stay informed about product features, competitor technologies, legislation, and regulations in the life safety sector.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and meetings relevant to the sales and marketing of our products and services.
  • Support Sales Representatives in lead generation and management, focusing on sales and designated customer accounts.
  • Assist Sales Representatives in expediting sales orders, projects, and inquiries.
  • Perform general office administration tasks.
  • Coordinate onsite meetings for Sales Representatives.
  • Provide customers with product and technical information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred; experience in the fire alarm, security, or electrical sectors is advantageous.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are beneficial.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
