We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Tacofino Squamish Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement new menu items, as well as maintain and improve existing ones, to ensure consistency and quality.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Financial Management: Manage kitchen expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and equipment maintenance, to ensure that we are operating within budget.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
