Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager, Construction is essential in directing all stages of construction initiatives. This role necessitates effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, public officials, and internal teams throughout the building process.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction workflow by outlining project objectives, pinpointing critical milestones, and managing the schedule for each phase.
  • Assess, plan, and address potential risks and technical obstacles.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources for effective project management.
  • Facilitate design and coordination discussions.
  • Engage with partners, consultants, the construction management team, and municipal representatives.
  • Supervise project budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and keep the team updated on progress.
  • Manage development processes, including permit submissions and architectural drawings.
  • Direct consultant working groups and meetings.
  • Perform project evaluations and prepare required documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings effectively.
  • Resilient and capable of thriving under pressure.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in High-Rise or Multi-Residential construction.
  • A degree in planning, engineering, architecture, or construction management.

Physical Requirements:

This position entails a mix of sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items. Visual capabilities, including close vision and depth perception, are essential for this role.
