About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Provider to join our team at Janine Walker, Paul Chatwin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
    • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing and serving nutritious meals to the children.
    • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
    • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, while also instructing them in personal hygiene and social development.
    • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Household Management
    • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, promoting their social and emotional development.
    • Assist with homework and provide support to the children in their academic pursuits.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other team members to ensure seamless care and support for the children.
    • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and provide high-quality care to the children.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in child care or a related field is an asset.
