We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join our team at Rodora Barraquias. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.
Job Description:Work Environment:The ideal candidate will have experience working in a family setting and be comfortable with light housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will be required to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities:- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Help children with homework
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Medical exam
- Reference required
- Vulnerable sector check
The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs). They will also be required to work in a non-smoking and scent-free environment.
Personal Suitability:We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and judgement. They should also be a team player and have a client-focused approach.
