The Principal, International Income Tax is tasked with the formulation, execution, and management of tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Development:

  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee consulting and compliance tasks assigned to team members.
  • Address client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
  • Build new client relationships and collaborate with the global management team to broaden service offerings.
  • Partner with the International Income Tax practice to innovate planning strategies for global clients.
  • Collaborate with the Consultancy-Recovery practice to create new planning initiatives for international clients.
  • Coordinate the provision of International Income Tax services to multinational clients.
  • Deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.

  • Lead and implement International Income Tax consulting projects.
  • Manage and supervise International Income Tax compliance initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on International Income Tax within designated jurisdictions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required, along with a minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in Income Tax. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in income tax and a thorough understanding of tax regulations, particularly those affecting international trade and cross-border transactions. A proven history of exceptional service delivery and teamwork is essential.

Technical Proficiency:

Successful candidates must demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet research.

Licenses and Certifications:

A valid passport is mandatory.

Supervisory Duties:

This role includes direct supervision of employees within the International Income Tax practice, adhering to the firm's policies and relevant legal standards.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting.
  • Occasional extended periods of sitting while utilizing a computer.
  • Regular interaction with colleagues and clients through various communication channels.
  • Travel requirements of 30 to 50%.
  • Standard workweek of over 50 hours.
