Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the estimating team by delivering accurate and timely assessments.
- Operate within the established estimating and project management protocols.
- Oversee all takeoffs for the estimates, including managing assigned interns or project coordinators.
- Interpret and analyze contract documents and specifications thoroughly.
- Collaborate with fellow estimators and project coordinators to produce competitive bids.
- Engage with clients and subcontractors regularly throughout the estimating process.
- Ensure bid folders are meticulously organized, including all addendums, quotes, drawings, and relevant documents.
- Participate in all estimator meetings and on/off-site bid discussions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution, coupled with 5 years of experience in estimating and cost control.
- Experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
- Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software.
