Job Summary:

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Dispatch Operator to oversee the operation of our state-of-the-art healthcare Control Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating various systems, including access control, CCTV, fire and life safety, and emergency overhead announcements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate numerous systems, including access control, CCTV, fire and life safety, and emergency overhead announcements.
  • Make emergency overhead announcements to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Answer telephones and dispatch calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff to ensure timely response to incidents.
  • Handle a variety of dispatch duties, including incident call taking and reporting.
  • Liaise with visitors, clients, and staff to provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Manage the Lost & Found and ensure that all lost items are properly documented and returned to their owners.
  • Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID/Access cards to ensure secure access to the facility.
  • Issue Visitor and Contractor badges to ensure that all visitors and contractors are properly identified and authorized.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Develop and maintain excellent deportment, customer service, and presentable skills to ensure a positive public image.
  • Working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and other security-related technologies.
  • Experience in a supervisory role and dispatching is preferred, but not required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum 6 months security experience
  • Minimum of 1 year security experience
  • COVID Double Vaccinated
  • Proof of immunizations for TB, MMR, Varicella?
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
