Job Title: Security Operations Coordinator

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the state-of-the-art healthcare control center, monitoring various systems, and handling dispatch duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch security guards to incidents, requests for assistance, and emergencies
  • Maintain control of access to and from the property
  • Log details of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and verbal instructions
  • Direct backup support as necessary
  • Inform management of major incidents
  • Maintain the camera surveillance system
  • Answer all incoming security telephone lines, including the complex emergency telephone line
  • Ensure security operations occur consistently with policy and procedures
Requirements:
  • High degree of professionalism
  • At least 1-2 years of prior dispatch or industry-related experience
  • Experience in healthcare is considered an asset
  • Strong command and fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle stress and pressure and make sound decisions under duress
  • High attention to detail and observational awareness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of dispatch experience
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act
  • Previous dispatch experience in the emergency services setting, such as police, fire, or EMS
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to commute to Toronto for pre-deployment training
  • Ability to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) from an ASP provider
