About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with our business leaders in the North America region in recruitment. As the main recruiter for North America, you will have a portfolio of permanent and contract roles that are engineering and project-focused, along with other functions as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, coaching and guiding them through the recruitment process.
  • Proactively source talent for active and pipeline opportunities using a range of sourcing methods, including social platforms and professional networks.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with key internal stakeholders to achieve the best results.
  • Work on resourcing projects, including process improvement, graduate recruitment, diversity and inclusion, reporting, and marketing activities.
  • Commit to a high level of candidate care, ensuring a positive experience for all candidates, regardless of their stage in the process.

About You:

  • An experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, with exposure to engineering, resources, or construction, either in-house or agency (or both).
  • A relationship builder, skilled at connecting with candidates and hiring leaders.
  • A head-hunter, experienced in sourcing passive candidates and comfortable using various methods to find great people.
  • A team player, naturally collaborating with others to hire and onboard new employees.
  • An organizer, effectively managing candidates and stakeholders to ensure no details are missed during interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Experience sourcing across Canada and communication skills in English and French would be an asset.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-95,000/annum, and the salary offered will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location, and market conditions at the time of hire.
