Your Role as a Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for:

  • Making safe and timely deliveries to customers using the most efficient routes.
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle securely, ensuring proper separation of hazardous materials.
  • Collecting payments and accurately documenting delivery information.
  • Maintaining compliance with all Provincial and Federal regulations (Ministry of Transportation).
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs to your supervisor.
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
  • Continuously expanding your product knowledge and job skills.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than two violations in the past three years.
  • Ability to safely maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Moffett, Skelly, or Air Brake experience is a plus.
