Daily Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Driver, you will ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries while adhering to Transport Canada regulations and other relevant guidelines.

Key Duties Include:

  • Utilizing the most efficient routes to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle, ensuring all products are secured and hazardous materials are handled appropriately.
  • Collecting payments and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
  • Complying with Provincial and Federal Regulations (Ministry of Transportation).
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
  • Continuously enhancing job and product knowledge.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 violations in the past 3 years.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 100 pounds.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with Moffett, Skelly, or Air Brake is a plus.
