Position Summary

Are you a Registered Nurse with a strong background in critical care looking to step into a supervisory position?

In the role of Emergency Services Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of nursing services delivered by a committed team. Your duties will encompass overseeing and guiding approximately 45 staff members, including Registered Nurses and Unit Clerks.

Personnel in the Emergency Services and Intensive Care Unit receive specialized training tailored to critical care, complementing their foundational nursing education.

Patients treated in these departments present a diverse array of medical conditions, ranging from manageable health issues to critical emergencies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the management team and healthcare practitioners to formulate patient care strategies and uphold superior care standards.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
2. Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Critical Care
3. Certification from the Canadian Nursing Association
4. Active registration with the College Association of Nurses
5. Membership in pertinent Nursing Associations
