Your Role as a Landscape and Maintenance Technician:

  • Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, mulching, watering, and garden maintenance, along with snow removal duties.
  • Engage in planting, transplanting, and upkeep of flower and shrub beds.
  • Install, operate, and maintain irrigation systems.
  • May be tasked with various responsibilities, including trash collection and removal in communal areas.
  • Address planned and urgent maintenance requests, resolving issues within your expertise promptly.
  • Refer unresolved tasks to appropriate resources.
  • Participate in project work within your skill set for installations, relocations, additions, and modifications.
  • Assist fellow team members with maintenance and project-related requests as needed.
  • Uphold departmental standards for quality work and key performance indicators.
  • Adhere to relevant safety protocols, company policies, and standards.
  • Operate maintenance equipment as required.
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

Is This Position Right for You?

  • Experience in landscaping or arboriculture is an asset.
  • Ability to perform various maintenance tasks within your skill set.
  • Willingness to work shifts (morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekends), including vacation and sick coverage, with some shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Capability to gather information, accurately assess issues, seek assistance, and follow directions as needed.
  • A team-oriented individual with experience in performance-driven service delivery and strong customer service skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build working relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable using computer applications and maintenance management systems for monitoring automated systems.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Experience with Agility is a plus.
