Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ferrovial. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the landscapes of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including operation and maintenance of ride-on mowers and tractor mower equipment, line trimming, and pruning as required.
  • Conduct litter control in designated areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repair of mowing equipment and attachments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out basic small gas tool maintenance, including replacement of air filters, blades, and cleaning of carburetors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid G Driver's license preferred, but not required (or ability to obtain by October 2024) to be eligible for winter contract.
  • Good driving record required to drive a company vehicle.
  • Minimum 1-year related experience preferred, but not necessary.

Work Environment

  • Capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Working adjacent to high traffic volume highways.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
  • Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
