About the Role

Bioriginal, a leading provider of nutritional innovation solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Master Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of our master data to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master Data Management: Create, maintain, and update master data records in line with company policies and standards, including data elements critical to maintain effectivity of our ERP system.
  • Data Analysis and Quality Assurance: Regularly audit master data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and resolve any data discrepancies.
  • Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance practices to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data integration across systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to data management processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation related to master data processes, including data standards, procedures, and workflows.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on master data related topics and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related study.
  • 3+ years of experience in data management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of ERP (Epicor Kinetic) and data visualization tools (PowerBI) are considered a strong asset.
  • Strong Excel skills, experience in SQL and data manipulation languages.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends or inconsistencies.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills; ability to manage range of tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
