Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at THE TRUE BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work setting: Restaurant
  • Ranks of chefs: Meat chef
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player
