Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Ultrafit Manufacturing. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Recruitment: Prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Job Offer and Onboarding: Notify applicants of results of selection process, prepare job offers, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and coordinate termination of employment process.
  • HR Administration: Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in automatic data processing (ADP), information technology, MS Windows, human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
