Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a proficient Business Analyst specializing in FX Risk Technology.

Position Overview:

  • We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in FX Risk Technology.
  • This position supports a Hybrid Work Model, requiring in-office attendance three days a week.
  • Video interviews will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Role Summary:

The selected candidate will join the FX Risk application team, focusing on the strategic enhancement of the FX Risk valuation and management system. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams to facilitate effective business planning and performance assessment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects from initial concept through to deployment.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to outline system requirements.
  • Assess new IT innovations and propose system improvements.
  • Deliver analytical insights, problem-solving, and risk management strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience within the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with FX/FX Options, Rates, or other Derivative instruments.
  • Experience in Trade Capture and Risk management is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis and analytical techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously while collaborating across global teams.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis or portfolio management is a plus.
