About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on our equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • Previous mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
  • Apprentice Level 2-4.
