Game Designer

As a Game Designer at 2K, you will be responsible for crafting engaging game systems and mechanics that provide players with unique experiences and opportunities for meaningful choices.
You will work closely with the Creative Director to understand the targeted experience for the player and ensure that the game systems meet the production directives. Your role will involve creating prototypes, assessing their success, and collaborating with the programming team to implement and adjust game systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create game systems that meet the needs of the Creative Director and production directives.
- Standardize, document, and communicate game systems to the team.
- Participate in the production of prototypes to validate systems before starting production.
- Assess the success of prototypes using quantitative and qualitative measurement techniques.
- Collaborate with the programming team to determine the Game Design needs of game systems.
Requirements:
- College diploma in Game Design or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in video game design or related experience.
- NFL football connoisseur and enthusiast.
- Experience using professional game-editing software and scripting tools.
- Shipped at least one AAA game and been involved in all phases of development.
