Game Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Designer to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive game experiences that captivate our players.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Game Systems: Create and implement game systems, mechanics, and features that drive player engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our art, design, programming, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of game features.
- Develop In-Engine Prototypes: Create prototypes to test and refine game mechanics, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable player experience.
- Balance and Polish Game Features: Continuously balance and polish game features to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and player satisfaction.
- Communicate Design Decisions: Clearly communicate design decisions and rationales to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.
- Experience in Game Development: A minimum of 3 years of experience in game development, with a focus on game design and development.
- Game Engines and Tools: Proficiency in game engines such as Unity or Unreal, as well as productivity software like word processors and spreadsheets.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Passion for Games: A genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes a game engaging and enjoyable.
