Game Designer

We are seeking a skilled Game Designer to join our team at Ubisoft Entertainment. As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging game systems and mechanics that provide players with unique experiences and opportunities for meaningful choices.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of game design principles and experience working on AAA games. You will be part of a collaborative team that works together to bring game concepts to life. Your role will involve creating prototypes, documenting game systems, and working closely with the programming team to implement and adjust game mechanics.
We are looking for a creative and innovative individual who is passionate about game design and has a strong understanding of the game development process. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is excited about the opportunity to work on a dynamic and fast-paced project, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Create game systems and mechanics that meet the needs of the Creative Director and align with the game's targeted experience.
- Standardize and document game systems to ensure a clear understanding among the team.
- Participate in the production of prototypes to validate game systems and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the programming team to implement and adjust game mechanics.
- Contribute to the development of tools required to implement and adjust game systems.
- College diploma in Game Design or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in video game design or related experience.
- Experience using professional game-editing software and scripting tools.
- Shipped at least one AAA game and been involved in all phases of development.
- Adaptable and open to realities playtests may uncover.
- Creative and thirsty for innovation.
