Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 779414 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and implementing quality control measures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Will train.

Work Term and Language

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English or French.
