About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Analyst to join our Public Markets Integration and Servicing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our Capital Markets Alternatives investment team, which manages a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds and opportunistic direct/co-investments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide and coordinate public markets investment support activities and various operational matters with PSP investment support teams.
  2. Complete and coordinate critical priorities as it relates to portfolio and investment transactions with a high degree of responsibility and accuracy.
  3. Support new deal process, assist, communicate and coordinate new deals' operationalization.
  4. Act as a central point of contact with regards to the Public Markets investment teams with internal business partners, including but not limited to Investment Finance, Public Markets Operations, Performance Measurement, Treasury, Trading, Risk, Data Quality Management, Legal, and Information Technology.
  5. Ensure Public Markets investment teams' business priorities are tracked and delivered on the right priorities.
  6. Contribute to portfolio reporting and presentations to inform key stakeholders in a fast-changing environment.
  7. Verification of completeness and accuracy of information - Identify, analyze, and respond to resolve issues and problems.

Requirements

  1. Undergraduate University degree in finance or other relevant field.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of related working experience in Capital Markets or relevant field supporting Investment Management.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Public and Private financial transactions.
  4. Excellent ability to learn new computer systems and processes.
  5. Team player, enjoys a high-performance culture.
  6. Strong analytical skills and ability to think through multifaceted problems.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  8. Experience in portfolio operations, database concepts and investment finance processes, an asset.
  9. Strong knowledge of analytical tools and computer skills such as O365 suite tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI VBA, and SQL.
  10. Self-starter, innovative, thorough and organized team player.
  11. Capacity to adapt and show flexibility against fast moving and changing priorities.
  12. Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn).
