About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at Basha International Foods Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and maintain inventory levels of bakery products, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing waste.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers with purchases, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Stockroom Operations: Unpack and count incoming stock, record inventory levels, and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Task Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet productivity standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals, resolve issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), work in a fast-paced environment, and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
