Bakery Labourer Job Description

Mang Pedro's Bakery is seeking a reliable and skilled Bakery Labourer to join our team. As a Bakery Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of baked goods, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and baking of mixed dough and batters
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform other tasks as required to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a bakery or food production environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
