About the Role

Movati Athletic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and investigate building operating and fitness system outages, and develop return-to-service action plans.
  • Contractor Management: Obtain quotes, manage external contractors, and verify work completed prior to departure.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety practices and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees and members.
Requirements
  • Education: Community College Certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems Operator, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of continuous experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, and BAS; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; and ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Certifications: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations preferred.
