High Tech Genesis Inc. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with secret clearance. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure tailored to application frameworks, guiding team members, and staying abreast of emerging technologies.

This position requires expertise in managing incidents, establishing industry best practices, and overseeing automation protocols for containerized microservices. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in cloud or DevOps roles, a solid understanding of network architecture, and skills in container management and scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud infrastructure components (networking, computing, storage, orchestration, security, etc.) in alignment with application architecture and specifications (primarily for containerized microservices).

• Implement and deploy these components utilizing coding platforms such as Ansible.

• Provide mentorship to team members on best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Engage in continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and frameworks to ensure our systems/processes meet market standards.

• Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) during incidents, assisting the team with resolution and root cause analysis.

• Design and implement processes and tools collaboratively with the team.

• Work with cutting-edge technologies in AWS/GCP/Azure while maintaining and enhancing your skill set.

• Install and integrate new cloud storage solutions, including Zadara.

• Deploy and manage various platforms, including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, and containers.

• Establish best practices for container management.

• Oversee container management using OpenShift.

• Manage automation protocols effectively.

• Lead the development of automation and deployment pipelines for applications across all environments.

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, assisting in the implementation of applications across all environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or a related field.

• Proficient understanding of network architecture and establishing secure communications within a virtual private cloud (VPC) based on client and security needs.

• Experience in building, deploying, and managing AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.

• Strong background in CI/CD and familiarity with tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.

• Ability to provide expert guidance on monitoring tools and best practices.

• Experience with containerized microservices.

• Capability to advise on cost-effective solutions for current and future scaling needs.

• Knowledge of cloud security practices.

• Ability to analyze metrics from distributed applications for performance optimization and fault resolution.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as shell and Python.

• Excellent customer service orientation, communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hitachi disk arrays.

• Familiarity with Zadara.

• Experience with OpenShift container platform.

• Knowledge of Cloud Mainframe technologies.

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• AWS Professional Certification.

• Kubernetes Certification.

• Google Cloud Certification.

• Azure Cloud Certification.
